When I heard about this application, I was over the moon! I missed studying so much, and I needed something to fill that longing.
I remember when I finished signing up, I immediately searched for all the rooms related to English. I wanted to learn and practice more and more. I think it's never too late to start again, even though I haven't spoken or read anything in English for almost five years.
There's one room that I love until now "English Cafetaria U/ Orang Indonesia"
I felt uptight the first time, but I enjoyed it.
Just like general discussion groups, this room has a moderator to keep the discussion going.
We need to raise our hand when we want to speak. Then, we choose a partner to start the conversation. We only have four minutes to discuss whatever we want. When time's up, we must stop talking. Don't worry, we can talk later with others in this room, and the rules are still the same.
I also had an experience when I joined another room, but sadly, I forgot the room's name. I really want to join that room again.
The only rule of the room is that the moderator will choose one word for us, and we must make a story using that word for three minutes. The word chosen for me at that time was "crown."
Please let me share my story with you...
I just want to share my favorite thing to do recently in my life. I hope I can continue studying English on Clubhouse because I need it to improve my skills with all my virtual friends whom I respect. They're good listeners, and we learn together regardless of our different backgrounds.
Finally, I realize that the magic of Clubhouse is truly real. It's amazing to witness the most unlikely collisions of people.
Let's connect if you want to join the same room with me.
Let's have a drink to our thirsty souls! :)
